Project Overview:
For the 2020 MLB season, I created animated looping logo and lineup animations for the San Francisco Giants’ scoreboard. Due to the delayed season start and restrictions caused by COVID-19, we were unable to capture new video footage of players. Instead, I utilized existing photography to develop dynamic animations for the full roster, which were displayed throughout the season.

My Role:
I designed and animated the lineup graphics, transforming static photos into engaging visual presentations. This involved crafting animations that highlighted each player and kept the scoreboard content fresh and visually appealing despite the lack of new footage.

Challenges & Solutions:
The main challenge was to produce compelling and dynamic lineup animations using only existing images. I overcame this by incorporating creative animation techniques and effects to bring the photos to life, ensuring that the scoreboard content remained vibrant and engaging for fans.

Outcome & Impact:
The lineup animations effectively filled the gap left by the lack of new footage, providing fans with an engaging experience throughout the season. The project showcased adaptability and creativity in using available resources to maintain high-quality content during a challenging year.
