Project Overview:
This video showcased the San Francisco Giants’ 2020 draft class by featuring highlight clips of the newly drafted players, alongside animated tweets from fellow Giants players welcoming them to the team. The goal was to capture the excitement of draft day and introduce the future stars of the organization to fans in a dynamic, engaging way.

My Role:
I was responsible for editing the video, animating the tweets, and creating smooth transitions between player clips and social media content. This included compiling footage of the players from the draft, designing tweet animations, and ensuring a cohesive flow throughout the video to match the energy and excitement of draft day.

Challenges & Solutions:
One challenge was balancing the live-action footage with the tweet animations, ensuring that the video didn’t feel cluttered. I approached this by using clean, consistent animation styles for the tweets and carefully timing the transitions between clips. The goal was to keep the focus on the players while incorporating the social media engagement in a way that felt natural and exciting.

Outcome & Impact:
The reaction video received positive engagement from fans on social media, building hype for the new players and strengthening the connection between the team and its fanbase.
